At Honest Oak we sell handmade products for the home, made here in Essex from responsibly sourced oak, other woods or slate.

Richard, a carpenter & joiner by trade, has been making lamps, coasters and candleholders for friends for a few years and has recently invested in a new workshop so that he can scale up and supply these to a wider market as well as making bespoke tables and other larger items of furniture to order.

We believe we have a responsibility to care for our world and are passionate about using products which are environmentally friendly and all our packaging materials are natural and biodegradable.

We love trees and aim to plant at least one a year at home. We also want to encourage tree-planting around the world so we will donate a proportion of our profits each year to Eden Reforestation Projects, a charity aiming to reduce extreme poverty and restore healthy forests by employing local villagers to plant millions of trees every year in parts of the world that have suffered from deforestation.
